Throw that witch out the window

…and let the dogs lick up her blood.

“Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.” - Revelation 2:20

Often, the jezebel spirit enters in because of emotional pain and hurts not properly dealt with. Distrust and anxiety take a strong hold, causing the person to run away from genuine healthy relationships out of fear of rejection. If this fear is not eradicated and healed, eventually the person will become a control freak but will shy away from the spotlight, seeking to pull strings behind the scenes. Lustfully desiring leadership status, but not desiring to be humble, truly denying ‘self’ (but rather boasting in a false humility) or seeking to genuinely serve. Secretly loving the attention of others but outwardly shying away from it. This is toxic behavior which needs to be cleansed by the washing of the Word.

Dear child, God has given you the spirit of peace, power, love, self control, and a sound mind. The Bible calls HIM the Rock. Jesus is your stability. Rest on him. And rest assured. You are accepted in the Beloved. All who come to him will never be turned away. He has bestowed many gifts upon you. If you will nurture those gifts and invest in them, an interest will be gained in those talents and your gifts will bring you before many mighty kings.

Get rid of that jezebel spirit that’s running your life. Stop the cycle of abuse and depression. Repent of being a manipulator (either overt or covert), and embrace the love and light of Christ. Trust that God will bring you where he wants you when he wants you there. Be still and know that HE is God, not you. Now, find a way to serve selflessly and commit until you are promoted by God and not from your own sneaky efforts or whining pity party (more on ahab spirit another time).

See to it no man steal thy crown and never forget the Blood.
